You must affirmatively opt in to receive SMS messages from Rainbow Optics using one of these methods: our online appointment booking form, a phone call with one of our offices, or an in-person conversation at any of our three Eugene locations (Willamette, Willakenzie, or West 18th). Providing your mobile number alone does not constitute consent.

Messages may include appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, eyewear and contact lens order notifications, office notifications, account notifications, and other practice-related communications. Marketing messages will only be sent if you have separately opted in to receive them.

No mobile information will be shared, sold, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors that provide support services, such as customer service, is permitted. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared for marketing or promotional purposes or transferred to another business, affiliate, or sender.

This SMS Privacy Policy supplements our general Privacy Policy. Any protected health information is handled in accordance with our Notice of Privacy Practices. Where this SMS Privacy Policy conflicts with our general Privacy Policy regarding mobile information, this SMS Privacy Policy controls.
