Our purpose at Rainbow Optics is to build long-lasting professional relationships by serving our patients’ visual and optical needs

Our history began here in Eugene Oregon in 1977 with Richard and Eleine Green, who said: “If we keep our primary focus on people and how special they are, we can never go wrong.” Decades later, these words support our purpose and our mission in serving each person every day.

Our mission statement expands on our purpose, and informs our daily actions:

Community Programs

We contribute to our community through several programs such as White Bird, Lions Club, Volunteers in Medicine, Community Health Centers of Lane County and Occupy Medical.

Helping Local Schoolchildren

We partner with local schools to help ensure that kids who are uninsured and may otherwise be slipping through the cracks, have the opportunity to be successful and see well by providing an eye exam and glasses.
